Notes:

On the CD "Movie Session Memories" (FG 973001), rip-off bootlegger "Famous Groove" spliced the intro of How Can You Lose What You Never Had? take 1 with the rest of take 3, calling it "take 2". There was a "take 2" announcement only on BMG's "Collector's Gold" that it was appended to. Not only pathetic, but a waste of time. All such home-spliced outtakes will be revealed eventually.

The movie version of Confidence is divided in two parts. The first part is an alternate vocal take and sung a halfstep higher than the record version. This would nearly fit with officially listed "first verse, vocal overdub". Until clarified, these options are possible:
__ 1. Movie version, part 1, is the rerecorded version. Record version unedited. (Primary guess)
__ 2. Record version is a composite with first part rerecorded in a higher key.
The "change of matrix numbers" should under all circumstances refer to the movie/record versions with UPA4 2753(recorded for RCA) being the record version and UPA3 8450(recorded for UA) referring to the
movie version or the first part of the movie version. (The second part of the movie version, with overdubbed children, is the same vocal take as the record version.)

(Reprise) may not be the correct version title for the short acoustic version of Clambake as released on Double Features and as denoted in the book 'A Life in Music'(Jorgensen). The second movie version is labelled "CLAMBAKE (Reprise)" in the sequencing list reproduced in the above mentioned 'A Life in Music'. This sequencing list has all the songs in the order they were to appear in the movie. So this "reprise" version seems to refer to the second (and complete) version in the movie which is the same vocal version as the record version. (The first movie version is just an edit of the master/record version.)

How the song Who Needs Money? was recorded may not be possible to derive. According to "A Life in Music" Elvis only did a cue vocal overdub and an insert vocal overdub of a track. However, the rest of the vocals must have made it to the tape somehow. It is therefore likely that the "track" actually was recorded with live vocals. Support to this theory is given by Tunzi's listed recording date of February 21, while Jorgensen mentions the track being recorded on February 22. This may be of interest since Elvis probably did not attend the February 22 session.
The
insert vocal overdub could be the part that is on the record version and not the movie version, at timing 1:45-2:00 of record version: "Making money...what do you want?". Omitted in the movie as well was the Ray Walker line just before that, at 1:37-1:45 of record version: "When I go to bed at night...dollar bills and then I fall asleep."
The
cue vocal overdub of Who Needs Money? either refers to the movie version or the record version as the last line sung is different. Again, a guess will have to do. Since the ending of the movie version sounds a little messed up and since the record version has the last line sung by Elvis alone, it is not impossible that the cue vocal overdub refers to the record version.
