Notes:

The source tapes used for 'Memories' and 'Burbank 68' are probably first generation and better than ever used before. The equalization of the June 29 recordings on 'Memories' is not considered conservative, with a huge midrange notch near 450 Hz and possibly a low-end raise. The missing midrange mainly results in reduced vocal appearance on these recordings, but is easily fixed. Both officially released shows are edited.

The first FTD CD, 'Burbank 68' has good sound quality, with equalization considered conservative and just right, but is mastered far too loud. 3.5 dB (or 50%) louder than Memories and too many clipped samples to count, due to lack of limiting of the maximum amplitude. The approach of raising amplitude just beyond the 0 dB-limit is not that bad on the other hand, for
these particular recordings with so little dynamics in the first place.

The intro of the 8 PM Jailhouse Rock and Don't Be Cruel on 'Burbank 68' has fading applause overdubbed during the first seconds of each song.

Slight digital jitter can be found in a few places on 'Memories' 8 PM
Blue Suede Shoes.

Clapper possibly overdubbed on 'Memories'
spoken 6 PM part before 8 PM Trouble take 4: "We're s<CLAP>upposed to do a..."

"Take 5" of 8 PM Trouble/Guitar Man on 'Memories' is actually spliced. The first three lines (before "just look right in my face" are taken from the false start take 3. This opening is thus repeated twice within the same track of the first CD. 8 PM Trouble/Guitar Man take 3 on 'Memories' has overdubbed applause as well, after the false start.

Unofficial video copies have circulated since the late 1970's and were also used as source for some of the bootleg LP's of the time. Video of the 6 PM show comes in 2 different camera angle edits, depending on origin of source. The NBC recordings were done in mono.
